The Pharmacy department at Smith County Memorial Hospital is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing and keeping accurate records of Hospital pharmaceuticals. This includes the safekeeping of controlled substances.

Other responsibilities are examination for interactions, duplication and proper administration of pharmaceuticals. Patient teaching materials are also kept up to date.
