The Dietary department at Smith County Memorial Hospital prepares and serves meals to the patients and Long Term Care residents. We also offer lunch and dinner meals for the employees and Guest meals of Hospital and Long Term Care residents are available upon request. We are staffed with 6 full time and 5 part time employees.

A registered dietician comes to the facility 2 times each month. The dietician does diet consults and scheduling is available through the Smith County Family Practice.

Meals on Wheels

Smith County Memorial Hospital's Dietary department serves Meals on Wheels at for Lunch Monday thru Saturday. The purpose of Meals on Wheels is to provide a meals for those unable to provide for themselves.   Anyone that is not able to provide meals for themselves, and living within Smith Center, Kansas is eligible to apply for Meals on Wheels.
