The Consulting Clinics held at Smith County Memorial Hospital is formed from various specialists in several medical fields that satellite to our facility for outpatient clinics with services on a monthly or more frequent basis. As well as having the specialists onsite, we also do Telemedicine appointments in by which the doctor and the patient actually have the appointment over the video Telemedicine machine.

Consultants work closely with our local providers to provide medical care to our patients. By having these Consulting Clinics, we are able to save much driving for our patients and it keeps the services local to the community. The consultants have a good relationship with our providers that and consult with them thru out the month via phone as necessary and will discuss cases when the specialists is here.

• Physicians Education every Friday
• EMS Trends Once Monthly
• Diabetic Support Once Monthly
• Diabetic Education by Appointment
• Follow up Appointments for various physicians
